Tools: Procreate, Adobe Illustrator
Gmail launched a new product feature called the Travel Label that allowed users to sort emails pertaining to travel related information such as hotel bookings and flights. They needed a launch illustration for their Keyword Blog post announcing the feature. I came up with different concepts that depicted a sense of leisure and travel and we landed on a simple illustration of a reclining figure on top of a giant UI button for the Travel Label itself. Because this feature was created to take some of the stress out of planning a trip, I made sure to make the illustration take the concept of relaxing a step further.
